Mountstar was established through the merger of several small scrap traders and recyclers, and subsequently acquired by European Metal Recycling Ltd in 2007. The company has sustained steady growth building on the expertise and experience of its staff, which was further enhanced with the acquisitions of formally known E.J Farr & Co, Hayes Metals, Green & Willson (Metals) and J. McIntyre (Non-Ferrous) Ltd.

Extending our expertise into Cable Recycling, Mountstar has the UK’s largest capacity plant of its type, and has been successfully operating for the last 12 years.

Having strong trading and manufacturing experience, which also includes Solder production and aluminium granule production, Mountstar encapsulates the non-ferrous market and knows what it's customers want.
