In February 2002 Mountstar purchased the formally known 'J.McIntyre (Non-Ferrous) Ltd’ from the receivers.
The new yard opened and rapidly made excellent trading progress.
This resulted in relocation to a larger site in December 2004.
The site has excellent access and on site facilities, which enables Mountstar to handle over 10,000 tonnes of scrap a year.
Our Nottingham depot is the group’s most centrally located site within easy access to the UK’s major road network.
